Hello and happy Monday at Muse Card Club!  I'm excited to be your Guest Designer today and hope you are inspired to play along this week.

Fall is my favorite season!  It's all about color, pumpkins and texture for me.  What does fall invoke in you?

I love the process of creating a card!  What began as a square card,  morphed into a 4-1/4 x 5-1/2 size with a top fold.  For the pumpkins, I 'shmooshed' Distress Oxide inks onto a slippery surface, spritzed with water and swiped watercolor paper through the ink.  I repeated the process for 3 watercolor panels.  Once dry, I diecut each pumpkin, ran them through an embossing folder, lightly sanded the raised areas, and edged with Vintage Photo ink.

The sentiment was partially stamped from a larger image, cut out and tucked under the solid square panel.  The added twine balanced the grid panel to the solid card front panel.

My card started off in one direction and then took a turn somewhere along the way to a totally different direction, but that's the fun of responding to a challenge!

Diecut trees (Poppy Stamps) are sprinkled in glitter (Lawn Fawn) using a Zig two-way glue pen.  Starry sky (A Muse Studio), snowflake (Poppy Stamps) and Wishes die (Tim Holtz) were stamped with Versafine ink and heat embossed (Reflections Silver Embossing Powder).  Card stock (Fun Stampers Journey).

Well, Kim had me at purple so I was immediately inspired to create a card!  Thanks Kim!
I stamped the floral image (Mondo Sakura by Julie - Essentials by Ellen) using Ranger Distress Dusty Concord onto watercolor paper (Arteza) with a Tonic Studios (Tim Holtz) stamp positioner.  Next, I smooshed Dusty Concord onto acetate and proceeded to watercolor the flowers.  The same watercolor technique was used for leaves (Peeled Paint) and stamens (Wild Honey).

​On a separate panel, I stamped the floral image again and water colored ​as in the above technique.  Once dry, the main flower was fussy cut and mounted with a foam mounting square (Scrapbook Adhesives).  Cardstock (Bazzil).  Sentiment (A Muse Studio).  Ink (Versafine Onyx Black).  Diecut Frames (Stampendous).
