I'm back from vacation and ready to post to another fabby challenge over on The Card Concept! I couldn't resist using my Stampendous stamp and sentiment for this card. I dug out my Faber-Castell Aquarelle pencils for a change in coloring medium. With a Quickie Glue pen, I added crystal glitter to jazz up the puddle. White Uniball pen turned the black dots on the boots to white! Ribbon (my stash). Perforated dies (MFT). Ink (Versafine Onyx Black). Here's how the inside looks: I would describe the style of this card as #2 - Clean and Layered.

I have purple on the brain and couldn't stop at one card for this challenge! I love this Stampendous/Dreamweaver stencil called Zen Butterfly! To create the card, I traced the butterfly on Tim Holtz Distress Watercolor paper with a pencil and then proceeded to paint the image with my Koi Paint Pallet. Sentiment (Fun Stampers Journey), Ink (Catherine Pooler), twinkle stickers (Stampendous). The dark outline of the wings help add dimension to the butterfly as if it's floating! Also, adding darker color between the larger and smaller wing adds depth. If you didn't catch last week's link to this cool technique, click HERE for my YouTube video.
