Today I am posting a card to The Card Concept blog. Here's the inspiration image:  And here's my interpretation:  I loved all the elements of this challenge and especially the golds against the white and black! I used a Sizzix Tim Holtz Alterations embossing folder and ran it through Ninah Classic Crest Solar White 110 lb. cardstock. Stampendous Spoonful of Gold Dust Embossing Powder & Elements was sprinkled onto the tips of the feathers and heated from underneath. Sentiment is from Catherine Pooler Designs Founations Box and was heat embossed with Versafine Ink and Stampendous Detail Gold Embossing Powder.

Tab headings give me lots of reasons to post and keep the excitement going, but What's Next is all about the stuff I have been meaning to try!!! So, what's next you ask? Well, I've been gaga over mono printing with Gelli Plates - GelliArts and Creative Palettes -Stampendous but haven't taken the time to play with them in quite awhile. I have every imagineable plate size and shape and keep seeing many cool projects on Pinterest. Here's what's got me going today:  Laura McHugh had a pin on Pinterest and the doodles caught my eye. She's from Ocean Grove NJ, a tiny town on the beach where my family used to vacation when I was about 6!!! Her pin is from 2013! Wouldn't these make fun envelopes?
