Another 5x7 watercolor card for PAINT PARTY FRIDAY #50 practicing florals.  I've only been watercolor painting since 2016.  I cased this piece from a pinner even though I added my own bits of whimsy.

Worked with my Koi Water Colors Pocket Field Sketch Box.  Sentiment (Paper Smooches Fun & Flirty), inkpad (Versafine Onyx Black), pearl elements (Viva Decor Pearl Pen Ice).

It's nice having creative time and though I miss my husband who's on a trip, there's nothing like a stay-cation to refill the need to create art without any obligations!!!

Guess I'm on a roll today painting a second 5x7 card of abstract flowers.  Had to add scribble lines to better unify the flower 'blobs.' 

I used my Koi Water Colors and had all kinds of fun here!  Kinda whimsy doodle fun!

It was good to sit down and paint a little something today!  

​I'm so wanting winter to be over as evidenced by this warm floral card.  This was a good warm up if I were going to paint something larger.  It's a great design for re-creating additional flower cards in different colors.
