I love snowdrops and I love the idea of saying goodbye to winter!  I get a good feeling with this little painting knowing winter is half over.  I used my Koi paints and Tim Holtz watercolor paper.

I'm happy to say that I've practiced painting this week since my last post to Paint Party Friday.  This week's work is featured in more detail in my E-News scheduled for Sunday, Jan. 8th.  I created several pen and wash cards for Christmas thank yous and enjoyed getting my sketch on for a variety of whimsical cards.

I sketched the snowman with pencil, then outlined with a Copic pen.  I used my Koi paint palette to add color.  Sentiment (Simon Says Stamp Hand Lettered Winter Wishes) was stamped with Versafine Onyx Black.  A snowy blizzard was created with Stampendous Chunky White Deep Impression Embossing Enamel that is sprinkled on and then heated with a heat tool from underneath.
