Our swap this month is to use a stencil and/or embossing folder or both.  I have two embossing folders so that's what I used on this card.  The hearts on the pink panel aren't easy to see but I liked how I combined the diagonal pattern on the black panel with the heart panel!  I love the giant bread bag die as well as the stitched dies.

Today is a play day in my craft room and here's a Fun Stampers Journey card using Amazing Day (SS-0413) and  I Heart Embossing Folder (EF-0014):

The embossed hearts didn't photograph well, but they are a separate strip affixed to the left side.  Here's a closeup:

The images were stamped with Versafine Onyx Black and water colored with Distress Cubes.  The tulips were glittered using a Quickie Glue Pen.  Ribbon and gems (A Muse Studio).  Paper (Tim Holtz Watercolor Paper).

I would call this a CAS card (once I had the design down).  Dry embossing the heart border goes along with last week's E-News about dry embossing a border on envelopes.

I love this Tickled Pink stamp set and couldn't wait to create another card!  Hope you get some creative ideas from this design!  Everything here is FSJ except the background smooshed panel, which was Distress inks smooshed onto an acrylic block and then generously spritzed with water.

I couldn't resist creating a February easel calendar with the Sweet Spring 6x6 pad and the Be Mine Bundle!  Just add FSJ checked ribbon and twine and a stitched scalop boarder (Lawn Fawn).  Click on the photo for the tutorial.  

Note:  When working with 6x6 paper, the sticky note holder box needs to be first constructed with other cardstock measuring 7-3/4 x 2-34.  Cut a section of 6 x 2-3/4 pattern paper and wrap it around the box.  It doesn't matter that the paper is short as it won't show on the finished project.

I have very limited supplies at the moment (especially for holiday cards), but I was able to cob together a card with a holiday vibe!  I may not have used FSJ twine or gold ink, but I will once I acquire those specific products.

I'm loving the splatters using Silks!  I would liked to add a sentiment, but I didn't have one that would work.  Stay tuned for more card samples as product arrives!  I'm really excited for this month's Bloom Box Kit!!!

Well, the new door opened already!  That was fast and I'm thrilled to be part of the Fun Stampers Journey direct selling family.  The company gave former A Muse consultants a generous credit toward the starter kit and I couldn't pass it up!  Not only are there realistic quarterly minimums ($150), the 20% off buying discount is attractive also!
