xoxo LYN  I need reminders about the color wheel because I'm a visual person and I have to see the colors and how they work from primary to secondary to tertiary to analogous, etc. So if I'm having trouble remembering the theory of color, perhaps I'm not alone! Click on the above color wheel for a discussion of the components of the color wheel. The below discussion goes into greater detail about what happens when colors are mixed. This is especially useful if you are water coloring or painting with acrylics and you want to mix color. If you watch artists painting tutorials, they are so skilled at putting colors together. They fascinate me!  Here's one more visual:  Since posting this, I found yet another good glossary HERE that does a great job of explaining what each combination of color means!

This week's colors scream winter to me...forget about the photo on the left 'cuz it doesn't help conger up creative thoughts at all. Just look at those deep rich colors on the right along with the greys and blues and you'll visualize a nice wintery card! See, I already have one in mind!
