Dreamweaver/Woodware Collaboration - Day #4

Wow! Day 4 already and we hope you are inspired by designers on both sides of the "pond" with a mix of both Dreamweaver and Woodware UK* products for the holidays! Six days, SIX, of beautiful, elegant, merry, cute, artsy, and craftsy projects to have you heading out to your local stores or internet sites to buy these goodies immediately!
Three prize packages will be given to three commenters during this week's posts on the team's blogs, including five stencils and one nested die set. You can have an opportunity to win these goodies by leaving some holiday sweetness for each team member posting each day, to be one of the three winners for the week.

My creation today is a window framed card using the SAME Musical Christmas stencil (LL589) and Nesting Frames dies (DD001)!  I did that because it is a gorgeous stencil and versatile die and I wanted to work out a design I had in my head and share the result with you!

The Musical Christmas stencil is stenciled in gold embossing paste onto gold cardstock (JoAnn's) and allowed to dry.  I used Glossy Accents to form little tiny balls and sprinkled them with a burgundy glitter found in my stash.
The background paper (A Muse) was dry embossed with my Sizzix using the Flower Lace stencil (LJ820).

The window frame was created using two of the Nesting Dies out of velvet paper.  I have to tell you that I used a Sizzix Magnetic Platform for Wafer Thin Dies and it has transformed my diecutting life!!!!  No more washi taping dies in place.  Unfortunately, because of the highly magnetized surface, people with pacemakers cannot use it.
For the final embellishment, I stamped the Woodware image with Delacato Gold ink and fussy cut out the leaves.  To add a little bit of design on the leaves, I stenciled with more Delacato Gold ink and a finger dauber using the Cathedral Windows stencil ( LJ809).  A light mist of Memory Mist Bright Gold finished the look I was going for.  May Arts wire ribbon was tied in a double bow and affixed onto the card.  The 3 leaves were inserted and affixed with hot glue.  The Maya Road pin was hot pink and I painted it with Tombow Multi Purpose glue and rolled it in The Art Institute Dubonnet Obaque glitter.  Merry Christmas (Hero Arts) was stamped in Archival Plum, edged with Delacato gold and glued to the pin.  The Robin's Nest Gold Dew Drops were also glued to the pin.

I hope you enjoyed my second Musical Christmas card!  It's time to hop onto the next designer's blog but before you go, leave me some love!!!!
