July is the month to DIE for! Yep, throughout the month, the Dream Team is featuring Dreamweaver's newest toys...DIES! You'd be surprised at how many we have, and what fun things you can do with them...especially when used in conjunction with many of their stencil counterparts. They are such a simple way to create an effective card.
Here's my card for this week:
I love tea and this vertical teacups diecut (DL493) is a favorite! It is positioned in front of the nesting frames diecut (DD001) window with foam tape. Vellum is covering the window from the inside. The teacups were diecut twice, once on white cardstock and once on text weight paper from A Muse. Both pieces were glued together using a brush and multi medium glue. May Arts twine holds the tea bags in place. Sentiment and papers A Muse.
Here's the view from the inside cover to give you an idea of the window effect. The vellum is affixed using a Scotch ATG tape dispenser. A subtle pinstriped paper is mounted to the inside of the card (A Muse).
I hope you enjoyed my teacup window card! It's time to hop over to the next designer's blog, but before you go, leave me some love!!!
