Dreamweaver Stencils - February Flutters!

Are you ready for the new Dreamweaver challenge for the month of February?  It will be a short month of posts for the Dream Team, but we're pretty excited to share with you our interpretation of  the month-long theme:  February Flutters.  The literal meaning can be anything that flutters such as heart, wings, breezes, sails, etc. So, join us this month and link your own "flutterings" to the Dream It Up! blog for a chance to win the stencil of your choice.
Meanwhile, here's my "fluttering" for the week:

My card today was inspired by the view from my 2nd floor craft room window. The bare trees with the snow stuck to the branches was just a perfect point of design.
I began by paste embossing the Snow Splatter stencil (LJ878) with pearlescent paste on white cardstock.  Next I diecut the Leafless Tree (DX7020) from cardstock that I sprayed with a concoction of various sprays (Ranger Vintage Photo and Memory Mists Gold).  I wanted the snow to be falling in front of the tree so I laid it down and placed the snowflake stencil over the tree and pasted it with pearlescent paste!
Snow on the branches was created by applying Quickie Glue Pen in various places and sprinkling with glitter.
All that was left was the bird that came from the Crows stencil (LL432).  I pasted the entire stencil with copper paste and then colored the birds with various embossing powders, glitters and gold Metallic FX Mica Powder that was then heated with a heat tool.  Very much like the Molten Magic technique but with less bubbling.  I fussy cut 3 of the birds but decided I liked just one bird sitting in the tree.  A black pearl is in place for an eye.
Winter is actually from the stencil Merry Winter (LS1015) that was partially placed near the edge of cardstock and stenciled with a brown paint stick and a 1/4" stencil brush.  Quickie Glue Pen was added to the tops of each letter and glittered.
It's time to flutter on over to the rest of the Designer's blogs.  Before you go, thanks for stopping by and leaving me some love!
