Dreamweaver Stencils - Lose the Weight CAS Cards!

Our last week of  "Lose the Weight...AKA Clean and Simple (CAS)" of our New Year's card diet.

My card today is just in time for Valentine's Day using the Molten Magic technique.  The swirly heart stencil (LJ928) is to die for with its vintage elegant appeal.

For a How To link of this cool technique, click on Stencil With Style and scroll down to the Molten Magic - Another Technique section.  If you are new to this technique, we suggested using black card stock as the base panel in case you inadvertently scorch the paper while heating the paste and FX powders.  Once you are comfortable with this technique, go ahead and try other card stock backgrounds.

The sentiment is from the live, laugh love set (LL403) that I use a lot when I need a tiny little tag embellishment.  I pasted it with metallic gold and immediately sprinkled gold glitter over the word and flicked upside down.  Once dry, I flicked off any stray glitter hanging around.

Ribbon is from May Arts and tied in a double bow and the pretty pin is hand crafted from my stash.

If you just can't stand to wait until your local stores get the new releases in, you can order online from Stencil with Style!  See the newest stencils and diecuts HERE.

Now off you go to the next designer's blog and thanks for stopping by today!

Incredible design! The mix of black & metallics looks so rich & indulgent. Digging that large bow. :-)
