Creations by AR New Release & Hop!

The AR Girls are pleased to have you join us for the JULY RELEASE BLOG HOP!  Pictured here is the new Scallop Bag and Card template that I couldn't resist turning into a mini book!  Having just returned from a beach vacation with my sister, I was inspired to use Authentique's Fresh paper line for this project.
The mini book cover dimensions are the same size as the bag insert panel (A1 on the instruction sheet) and the little pages inside are cut 3-1/2" x 3-1/4" with the binding on the 3-1/2" side.  There are 12 pages plus two white coin envelopes cut in half to use as little tuck-ins for journaling spots or extra items.
Here's another view of the back side of the bag together with the mini book to give a better idea of the scale.  The mini is inserted into the bag with the binding edge going in first.

Next is the new Folder-Organizer template and I couldn't wait to use Graphic 45 Old Curiosity Shoppe for this project!
The template is so darling and assembles beautifully.  I see this project on my desk holding all sorts of unfinished card fronts or for notes to keep in one place.  Of course I had to add 'feet' to give a higher dimension to the overall piece.  They are painted with a Ranger Acryllic Paint Daber in Stream.

Here's a view from the other side:
To win one of the new release templates just leave a comment on each designer's blog and you'll automatically be entered in the drawing.  On Saturday, July 28th, re-visit each blog to see who each designer has chosen as their random winner. The winner will have a choice of ONE of the new templates.

So, off you go to the next designer and happy hopping!

Your idea for turning the template into a book is one of the reasons I like blog hopping because I can really see the variations that can be done with the templates and I don't have to think about coming up with the idea myself! I love that you put feet on each box, I think that is a great design element. I am off to my next hop stop, thanks.
